The modified PVA coating has been greatly developed through applying nanotechnology on the base of nature high barrier property of the PVA resin. The modified PVA improved property of water-resistance because of a series of chemical reaction and nanometer-sized inorganic powder added into coating liquid. Nanometer-sized inorganic powder has a property of immense specific surface area and excellent surface activity, which can effectively restrain high polymer′s motion and create further barrier and water-resistance
